Alphazett was a blog for posting drawings, musings, and other random nonsense that no one else cared about. Like every other blog in the aughts, essentially. I didn't post often, or for very long, because there was a lot going on. I was making art professionally in the game industry, teaching, doing small projects on the side, and even managing to squeeze in a little time for my own art and writing, and while I also had a portfolio site, Alphazett was to be "different", and "experimental." It was also the beginning of a long process of figuring out exactly what I actually wanted to create.
Alphazett started as Eyefly, a word which came to me one day while I was rhyming words. There was no magic to the combination of syllables, but it stuck with me and so I turned it into a logo and the name on a business card. The fly on the wall came later.
An Alphazett Device is an handheld communicator/ companion that unlocks the gates between universes. It is also a conduit for the smartest and most annoying A.I. construct in the known multiverse.
I started thinking about between worlds, then how to travel between worlds, and finally, that the in-between is where the stories are. Or not.
In one's hands are contained all the power in the universe. Enter The Navigator , the all-knowing A.I and travel guide persona.
